Job DescriptionAs a Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge NLP models to process and understand human language. Your primary focus will be on building systems for tasks such as machine translation, sentiment analysis, and chatbot development. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create innovative solutions that leverage advanced NLP techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement NLP algorithms and models to extract meaning from unstructured text data.
Design and train machine learning models for tasks such as sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and text summarization.
Build and optimize systems for machine translation between multiple languages.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate NLP components into production systems and applications.
Conduct research to stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and implement them into existing projects.
Work on improving the accuracy and efficiency of NLP models through experimentation and iteration.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
Proven experience working with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, Transformers, etc.
Strong understanding of deep learning techniques and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
Proficiency in text processing methods such as tokenization, parsing, and word embeddings.
Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation in NLP projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in a relevant field with a focus on NLP or machine learning.
Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying NLP solutions.
Knowledge of domain-specific NLP applications, such as healthcare NLP, financial NLP, or legal NLP
