KUMANO, JAPAN – Healing Touch Japan (special project of Be Genki International) is honored to announce that the first two Japanese Healing Touch practitioners have been granted the international credential of Healing Touch Certified Practitioner (HTCP).
“Since 1990, Healing Touch Program (HTP) has proudly granted practitioner certification to individuals who exhibit the professionalism, discipline and dedication required to meet the established criteria. The requirements are rigorous and are designed to instill knowledge, skill and confidence in the practitioner.” – Healing Touch Program.
In November, Atsuko Saeki, RN, CNIC, HTCP and Hiromi Kodama, RN, MSN, PhD(c), HTCP, became the first Healing Touch Certified Practitioners in Japan. Having completed all five levels of coursework, they completed the rigorous requirements for certification including successfully passing the Healing Touch Certified Practitioner Entry Level Proficiency Exam.

New Healing Touch Certified Practitioners
Hiromi Kodama has been studying Healing Touch since 2012. As a nursing professor with certifications as a public health nurse and occupational health counselor, Hiromi is completing her PhD with research in Healing Touch.
Atsuko Saeki, having studied Healing Touch for over five years, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in infection control. With an extensive background in various integrative medicine modalities, she brings years of clinical experience as a nurse, nurse educator and former director of nursing.
