This is something I have not quite figured out. I seem to get smoked by other players when they are driving but I struggle myself when shooting while driving or even as the passenger. I don't get it. I feel like I must be out of the loop on what gun to be using or something cause I don't suck this much on foot! lol

If you are not looking to actually blow up the vehicle that is targeting you (which in most cases I would just flat out recommend lol) then I would always suggest to use the AP Pistol. It also depends on what you are driving too but overall I find the AP to be the most accurate and easy to use to take out drivers.

I would say in most cases you will want the AP pistol for drive-bys and get general shooting out of your vehicle. I also thing the micro SMG is another great option but you will want to add the upgrades.

Most people are going to default to the AP but I never cared for it. I think it comes down to how you play and your preferences honestly. The Machine Pistol will always be my go-to driving weapon unless I am trying to nuke someone but people tend to use armored cars online so you are better off just using something in the air to take them out.

Same for me too. Like I can actually feel like I am aiming with this one. I have tried other guns and it is almost as if I am not able to lock on targets while in the car. I tried messing with my settings a bit but it didn't help so I just stick with the machine pistol when driving. The double-action revolver is decent if you are close enough or on a bike I find too but I seldom use it.

IDK man I have tried the AP pistol several times after it was recommended to me and my aim still feels terrible. I feel like the supposed aim-assist for console players isn't even on half the time when I am driving.

I tend to not shoot while driving just cause I honestly suck so bad at it. I have tried all sorts of guns, basically every option at this point and just gave up. I for some reason can manage better sometimes on a bike.

When that was still new to the game, it felt way more powerful and accurate than it does now. Cause I unlocked it on my PC account and later again on console this was a few years ago and it doesn't feel the same.

I usually go for one of the SMGs with an extended mag, not to big on accuracy, but a wall of bullets tends to do some damage 😆

When in doubt, spray and pray! That is one of the safest options in GTA online these days. Assuming you aren't getting gunned down by an oppressor MK 2 😒

This for me too. I have tried all the rest and this ends up being my go to every time. It is the only gun I can seem to do damage with on players. When it comes to NPCs even, it is a struggle with other guns but this one works so much better for some reason.
