Race numbers are available for collection from Tuesday 16th July from our Run North West Wilmslow Store or can be picked up on the evening from our wonderful Race HQ at Glasshouse Alderley Park from 5.45pm. Please note you are welcome to pick up race numbers for family and friends, you will need their full name and DOB to do this. Plus the Glasshouse cafe/bar will be on hand to offer you pre race refreshments and post race celebratory drinks and refuel!

TRANSFERS
If you are no longer able to join us on race day, you have the following 2 free of charge options:
1) You can transfer your race place to another person.
2) You can transfer to our virtual race option and run the race in your own time up to a month after race day to earn your unique collectable medal!

Arriving at Glasshouse, Alderley Park
Please head to the ALDERLEY PARK NORTH ENTRANCE situated on Congleton Road, SK10 4TG. The South Entrance will be closed due to roadworks. There will be marshal's and signs directing you to Glasshouse from here. You can find a map of how to get to Glasshousehere.
PLEASE NOTE PARKING IS IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO GLASSHOUSE.
Bike
There is a bike storage room at Alderley Park, please see a RNW volunteer for access.
Public Transport
The closest train stations/tram stop (on foot) to Race HQisAlderley Edge, which is a 2-mile walk away (or warm up).Wilmslow train station is 4.5 miles from Race HQ.

NUMBERS
Numbers must be attached to the front of your vest, please do not fold/cut/deface it in anyway. The timing chip is attached to the back of your number and is detected when you cross the start and the finish. Please do not run around the outside of the mat area or your time will not be recorded.
Please also take the time to fill in your emergency contact details on the reverse of the number prior to running, in the unfortunate event of an emergency, these can help medics to treat you swiftly and appropriately.
Please DO NOT run is someone else’s number as it is against UKA rules, it can cause problems with the results and could also cause a lot of distress should there be an incident and the wrong family are contacted.
TOILETS
Toilets are available inside Glasshouse. Please note these toilets are spread out around the building in 4 locations, they will be clearly signed on the evening. These toilets are all unisex. If you see a queue please try another block of toilets as there will be plenty available.
COURSE
The race is a 2-lap course over approximately 5.25 miles within the hidden grounds of Alderley Park, taking in the impressive lake and the beauty of the grounds. The race is on both trail andwoodlands. Road or trail shoes are suitable for the course, we would advise trail shoes if the days leading up to the race have been wet.
MUSIC PLAYERS/HEADPHONES
We strongly advise against the use of personal music players or headphones during the race, as this can restrict your ability to hear safety instructions from marshals or unexpected events.
MEDICAL SERVICES
First aid is situated at various points along the course. Should you feel unwell during the race please let your nearest marshal know so we can arrange for medics to get to you as soon as possible. If you come across anyone injured or in distress, please report it to the nearest marshal who will be in contact with our event team and our first aid providers. First aid is also available at the start and finish areas.
Please also fill in your personal details section on the reverse of your race number. This greatly assists the medical staff, should you require first aid or medical treatment!
ECO WATER 🥤
In a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we have introduced a bring your own water bottle (pre-filled) to place at the finish area for the end of the race. The finish area is the same point as the start and the tables will be clearly labelled.Completely optional, but every person who brings their own bottle of water is helping to save the planet one small step at a time.
Alderley Park are kindly providing compostable cups and water at the finish for anyone who needs it.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Our race day pictures will be free to download and linked to your results. Youcan also use the new facerecognition technology to find your pictures.
As soon as the pictures are available we will post an update on our social media pages. Do bear with us as there will be lots to edit, they are usually available by the evening of the race.
We will also have a videographer at the race so if you do see the camera be sure to give them a smile and a wave! Edited videos will be posted on our social channels the week after the race.
RESULTS
Timing and resultswill be available on ourEVENT PAGEas soon as possible after the race has finished, simplyclick on the link.If you entered your mobile number into your entry details you should receive a text as you cross the finish line.
After the results are published, if you spot any issues or errors please contact Nifty Entries our results provider by clicking on the “query a result button”, or contactrun@runnorthwest.co.ukwhere we will put you in touch with Nifty Entries.
PRIZES
Presentations will take place straight after the race for top 3 male and female finishers based on gun times. Vet prizes will be sent out in the post and based on chip times.
All prizes are equal for male and female. Vet age groups are from V35 to V85+ in 5 year increments plus the first U20 (one prize per individual, male and female).
FINISHER T-SHIRT
All runners will receive a RonHill Technical Finishers T-Shirt. Our Alderley Park Trail Races are Finishers T-Shirtinstead of a medalas your finish line reward.
OFFICIAL RACE CHARITY
A contribution from each entry goes directly to Alderley Park's chosen charity -The Bruntwood Charity
The Bruntwood Charity supports Bruntwood’s nominated charities across Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Birmingham. The charities are chosen on the basis of the real difference they can make to the lives of the people in the communities where Bruntwood operates. Bruntwood’s staff work together to raise money for the charities through a variety of fundraising events from clothes swaps to triathlons.
FOOD & DRINK
The Café at Glasshouse will also be open for any hot and cold drinks and light refreshments during the evening and will be serving alcohol until 9pm to enjoy a post race celebratory drink.
